Join us in Fort Collins, Colorado, for the 6th year of the largest Warbird Event west of the Mississippi.  Hosted by the Love-Air R/C Club and held August 28-30, 2009, this unique event drew 150 pilots  with over 300 different airplanes.   Our cameras were on the flight line over the weekend capturing all the action for your viewing pleasure,  including  Scott Davis' incredibly detailed Beech Staggerwing, Egil Wigert's huge A-10 powered by 2 P-200's, Merlyn Graves' one-of-a-kind Fokker G-1, Jimmy Cowman's 50 pound B-24 Liberator, David Morales' battle  damaged Marine PBJ, and Eduardo Esteves'  superbly detailed Fairchild PT-19.  This is only a small sampling of what you'll see!  Noontime entertainment included a warbird show featuring Giant World War I and World War II aircraft as well as simulated Bomb Explosions performed by a professional pyrotechnics company.  If Warbirds are your passion, you can't miss this one!
