Welcome to the Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina, for the 27th rendition of the largest Fun-Fly event in the world. With over 800 registered pilots, this year's event produced the largest turnout ever; definitely one for the record books. Some of the featured aircraft include an even bigger Cub from Bill Hempel, a giant Breezy , Steve Thomas’ Lavochkin LA-7, Mark Trent’s Yak 55 and Rod Gier’s Cessna 195. Quique Somenzini debuted a brand new aerobatic biplane called “The Beast;” Noontime Demos include the articulated jet antics of Ralf Losemann and Enrico Thaeter as well as the full-scale aerobatics of Matt Chapman.
