Flying the Classic British Jets
David Gladwin, a former RAF senior instructor at the Central Flying School, presents this pilot�s view offlying the classic Bristish jets.David�s extensive flying career includes 12 years flying with the RAF and 25 years civil flying. In this DVD, he describes the history of British jet aircraft, their performance and handling characteristics, and some of their quirks and peculiarities. Lightening pilot Colin Wilcox also joins him to discuss that most charismatic of British jets. Only a few examples of these types now exsist, and still fewer can be flown. Using a combination of original footage and animation graphics, this DVD pays tribute to a period when the British aircraft industry produced some truly iconic designs. Approx.
