SKS Video is now Full Hi Definition !
We have completely upgraded our studio and field equipment to utilize the JVC Hi Definition Digital system. We have two JVC 700 Hi Def cameras and one JVC 250 HD camera as well as a Sony Z1 Hi Def camera. plus two Sony DSR 450 cameras and three Digital non linear editing stations. All of our latest videos are now full Digital. Copies are made directly from a Digital Master for improved Quality.

We are now offering our 2009 and newer titles on Hi Def Blu-ray discs.

A word about High Definition
High Definition is a very common buzzword used today by some video companies. This is used to mislead you into thinking their DVDs are in Hi Def and somehow better. Here are the facts , unless you are watching a Blu-ray disc played on a Blu-ray player hooked up to a Hi Def TV you are not watching Hi Def. It is just standard Def in wide screen mode. It takes more than just buying a Hi Def Palmcorder to do Hi Def. It takes special software to edit it running on a fairly powerful computer. It also requires special authoring software to make the Blu-ray disc and a special burner to burn it. Blu-ray discs hold five times more data than standard DVDs. Thus they have five times more resolution. SKS Video and our friends at Propwash Video are currently the only companies offering its R/C videos on true High Definition Blu-ray discs.
So, if you want to see every little detail on that cool R/C jet try Blu-ray. Oh and guys, some of you need to start wearing make up.
DVD Notice:
All of our newer titles are now available on commercially pressed DVD. Please be aware that our older DVD's are on the DVD-R format, they should play on most newer machines.We recommend that you review the manual that came with your player to determine if it can play DVD-R disks. Most new machines do.
DVD Availability:
Some of our older titles may not be available on DVD. Most are.
DVD Policy:
If you find that our DVDs will not play on your machine, return the DVD with in 30 days of purchase to SKS Video Productions in the same condition as you received it. We will test it and, if it plays fine in our players, we will replace it with a VHS copy of the same title.
